The Story of Abraham's Chosenness

Abraham is the first person to wonder about cause and effect. He's one of the only people to be okay, asking the question, and then leaving the question unanswered,. And so if I bring it back around to the question of what makes that partnership between God and humanity real, what makes it possible? It's that you have to be okay with asking deep and important questions, and having at least some of them go unanswered - yet not allowing that to ruin the entire endeavor. That's a pretty difficult thing to do.
