Delaware Chancery Court: A Unique Court in the American Legal System

The Delaware Chancery Court has its roots in colonial-era cases. It's the main venue for corporate America, basically because over half of the Fortune 500 companies are registered in Delaware. There are no juries that hear the cases; it's just the judges who are hearing the arguments. Some of these are the cases that come before Vice-Chantler Laster: Walmart and McDonald's to name two of them.
