The Impact of Chernobyl on the Culture of Ukraine
Chernobyl has had a major effect on the way that people today as well, their relationship with Russia and Moscow. I think we all know that that was a terrible disaster and really showed that human lives were not what they really cared about. And also sending people out onto the central street a couple of days after it happened to go on a march to celebrate workers rights is just insane. Those kind of really personal things that people started feeling like that injustice became much more personal than it was before. It's personal stories that make us really understand the relationship that Moscow had with,. I don't want to call us the peripheries, the countries that were further away from it.
