The Evolution of Hardware Wallets and Multi-Sigs Since SLP97
The multi-sig space has evolved a lot since SLP97 in August 2019. Spectre Desktop is designed to be used, which I think is sort of the biggest thing that sets it aside from the others. You should run your own Bitcoin Core, but as a simpler one, you can use Merkle proofs in Spectre that way. There are steps that are not so easy and we'll get to that later.
