The Importance of a Good Translation
I didn't realize my son said, when you speak when you're angry with me, you speak in English. I have worked many years as a translator. Sometimes the easiest terms are the most difficult to translate into another language that has a different culture where they don't have that institution. In Italian, Faribouta Figuera is when you do something that is shameful, but it's not shameful in a way that you shame yourself or your community. It's really something so intrinsically Italian and only exists in Italy.
