The After All, You've Got to Preach the Gospel

When Jesus ends that parable and he says, go and do likewise, you can say when you preach this after all, he's come and done it for you. And if we're talking good works, we're talking fruits of the spirit which means they're performed by the spirit who's always at work with his word. So in order to get the spirit, you've got to get the gospel preached to you.
