The European Commission, Is It Really Legislative?

I want to go back to enforcement because i don't want to just leave it as it's been ineffective. Can the e c do something within its own authority now to actually be more aggressive when it comes to enforcement, or is it really a statutory thing? I think it's going to be very unlikely that you will see the european commission, a european regulator, mandate break ups of american companies. This is just simply not on the cards. So you're left with two situations. Either you have a settlement decision in which you don't have effectively a finding of liability, and you can kind of do behind the senes agreements or remedies.
