How to Be Creative in a Job Like Peanuts?

I think that you can be as creative as you want in a job like Peanuts. As long as you stay true to what the brand's fundamentals are, I kind of know what it's about. So I can take risks in creative marketing. We did a public art project with seven fine artists and typically the Schultz family doesn't allow you to redraw the characters. It was a big deal, but it was also a lot of fun.
