The Purification of the Dead
With the Reformation, you have Luther and Calvin and Zwingli and all those folks who had this different view of justification. And it is to be Christian that they got rid of the doctrine of purgatory. Even my buddy, C.S. Lewis, he, as a Protestant, right? He was Anglican. He said, our souls demand purgatory,. He said, imagine you go to heaven and you're clothed in dripping rags and you're dirty and smelly. Just come on in. Enjoy.
