AI in Job Recruitment and Facial Recognition

There's a sense that we can sort of preempt these moments of violence on the domestic and civil scale. And so this is a similar question to the prediction of which protests are likely to turn violent. We see algorithms being created supposedly to deduce someone's criminality from their face or their sexuality. The issue here is not oh you know actually did they have the right data set or tools to do that but simply what makes you think that you can deduce someone’s criminality or sexuality from their face in the first place? It's a completely erroneous assumption based in these histories of racial science and pseudoscience.
