The DOJ and the drug manufacturer are asking the court to keep the pill available while the case is decided. Pharmaceutical companies filed a new brief backing the administration last night, warning that the ruling could have disastrous implications. Unless stayed, the district court's lawless opinion will empower any plaintiff to grind drug approvals to a halt, disrupting patients' access to critical medicines.
