What's the Upstream Effect of Vinegar?
A tablespoon of vinegar before a meal can reduce the glucose spike by 30%. Acetic acid does two things: First, it slows down the breakdown of starch into glucose in your stomach. Second, it goes to your muscles, those muscles we were just talking about. The cetic acid tells your muscles to uptake glucose more quickly and to create glycogen more quickly than they normally would.
