The Importance of Mango Planting in the Village
In the past, we followed a very traditional planting method. What we could only sell for two yuang fresh could then be sold at four and a half times the original price would dried. All impoverished households in 5-star village were lifted out of poverty by the end of 2019. According to Huang Li Ping, the per capita annual income of villagers has increased from less than 4,000 yuang before poverty alleviation to more than 18,000 yUang in 2022.
