Pragogen and Kadirov's Discourteous Tone
Pragogen and Kadirov are not real allies, despite the fact that some observers particularly observers outside Russia made a big play of this. They often have congruent interests, and in some ways they both have a rather outspoken populist style. There was never any sense of any kind of real reciprocity there. The Institute for the Study of War has suggested that the this particular spat was something that the Kremlin orchestrated as part of a plot to undermine Pragogen.
