How to Respond to Transnational Repression in China
Chinese authorities use three main strands of so-called persuasion tactics. These are based on official laws and written legal interpretations by the authorities in China. Family members, relatives, loved ones can be used to send a message to the target abroad. There's also entrapment through Interpol notices which pose a risk for many individuals.
