Dogs and the Pointing Test
Shimps and dogs get the pointing test wrong, cive says. It's not because they have a special brain cell that tells them to go where people point. They just spontaneously recognize what is being pointed at. Cive has also done tests on some wolves who were reared by human beings. Those wolves behave just like the dogs in this way - following humans' directions.
