I think it would be really hard to outlaw chat GPT because of those kinds of concerns. I don't think we can put the genie back in the bottle. We haven't been very good at trying to do AI is trained on a few training sets, which is how humans work. The other thing that's happening in AI is almost all the AI we have so far has been on neural nets - they require billions and billions of data points to train. And my, my, my prediction is at that point, every artist will clambering to be included into the training set.
