DNA testing is a big one. Right now we're in the midst of a revolution in ancient DNA. The bigger development that you're going to be able to draw moving on has to do with aggregating large amounts of data, especially with pottery. It's not as headline grabbing as LIDAR or DNA is, but I think it'll tell us a lot more about how people actually did and kind of long-term changes in the economy and society.
