The Progressive March Continues
In 2016, Donald Trump wins the presidency and the Republicans have the House and the Senate. The progressive march would have continued on because progressives have something that conservatives do not have. Representatives have an army of people with nothing better to do than to spend their entire life making 40 K a year moving the progressive cause one centimeter further. They will go take a job as a public school teacher and make it their mission in life to spread progressive ideas. Conservatives just have nothing like that.
