Sailors at Camp Brooks were put outside in their beds and pushed out into the courtyard. The patients had a lower temperature at night than during the morning And felt decidedly more comfortable From the first day, the results were startling. Pretty damn quickly, they'd managed to cut the death rate by two-thirds.
