Ruth, jonathan: Why shouldn't i be concerned that other rights, including a same sex marriage, would also go by the wayside? I think it is highly unlikely. But since states from time morial have been in charge of marriage law, yound would come under the jurisdiction of columbia. And your right to your current marriage would be absolutely secure. Rethinking segregation as deeply rooted in our nation's history makes me feel better.
