The Ominous Subtext in Genesis 19

An old man was coming from his work in the field at evening. The man was from the hill country of Ephraim. That's an interesting little detail because that shows this old man is not from this city. He's from the same place that this Levite is from. So maybe that kind of geographical connection is even what's prompting him to show hospitality to this man.
