The average company is like not thinking too hard about this. Like, I gotta be honest, like I haven't really looked at this. It's got to assume there's some principled way to do this, but maybe not. The thrust of the book is that if you build a complex system, it will fail. And there's nothing you can do except to kind of prepare for that. They talk about Three Mile Island. But yeah. I would like to read this.
