Is It Possible to Get Into a YC?

I had been rejected from YC before and I tried arguing to get into it. Paul Graham is such a tease that's what I'm gaining from all of these stories. We did after we got in a YC we convinced Nick's like elementary school friend Jonathan who was in a PhD program for computer science to drop out, which actually worked partially because the YC stamp of approval gave us credibility.
