I think the connections, kind of upper middle class, very peaceful suburb of Dayton with very good public schools gave me kind of the breathing room to develop. Once we got into the paper, we were just full equal partners, and we did everything. We came in more different than we exited, I think. Doug knew a lot about banking institutions. He has talked about a professor he had at Brown as an undergraduate that had a fabulous course. It's interesting because you have to put your own ego aside to share knowledge with somebody else.
