Is Young's Proposition Right or Not?
Young gets a rap as being kind of this whimsical weirdo. But he also is like these philosophers of old who had a hard core academic pedigree. He obviously was the protege of freud, and later rejected freud because he didn't think that his work could not philosophically square with what freud was putting forth at the end of the day. And that eventually led him to a place of deep soul searching and reflection and meditation and experimentation in ways that we are not fully aware of.
