Keynes predicted in 1930 that 100 years from now people can be way richer than they were when he was writing, and he's right about that. He also predicted that by more or less where we are now, the great problem would be what to do with all of our free time. Well, that part wasn't, it hasn't come true yet, let's put it that way. I don't think he would have expected that there would be a huge swath of people doing no time,. working age men did no work at all, and others were quite affluent who were working like crazy.
