I think one of the great challenges for autistic people is having the right support network around them. And me clearly, there's no blame attached to my parents, but clearly they didn't pick up or, you know, they didn't get me diagnosed or look into it as an adult. So the importance of parents understanding and advocating and gathering the right tools is clearly crucial to an autistic child's life. It's an incredibly hard life that most normal parents of neurotiable kids will never truly understand.
