How to Create the Advantage in the Preseason

I think sometimes coaches spend too much time and you know equal opportunity in terms of the number of reps the guys are getting defensively when in reality those threes and fours for the most part are always going to be behind the ball. I'm really trying to create switches to get another team's third or fourth defender onto their guard which can force him to play on my best offensive player if I need to hunt switches that way. There's also a defensive spacing component to basketball and the really good teams defensively know how to space behind the Ball. For me like I said I keep harping on 5 on 5 but that's where that's what's played 5 on 5 coach  and so
