The Importance of Experiencing Excruciating Experiences

Psychodelic drugs have the potential to produce extremely unpleasant and de stabilizing experiences. If nothing else, these excruciating experiences can become a source of compassion. I think it may be impossible to imagine what it is like to suffer from mental illness without having briefly touched it. Psychodelics do not guarantee wisdom or a clear on of the selfless nature of consciousness. They merely guarantee that the contents of consciousness will change.
