O ananputiad lobbid wrote a poem for sugata when he was going to hydropath University. The poet had given up his jobs and could no longer write, but kept two copies of the piece as a keepsake. "I still keep it in my study. It's the most precious thing that i have of a great canada writer having written this poem for me," Sugata says.
He grew up breathing Kannada literature -- and he also embraced the globalised world.
