Mindful Technology is encouraging people to come up with their own set of values for this. For different people, different things resonate and are more or less important. What we really try to do is help people look at what kind of world do you want to live in? And how can you make decisions right now about the technology that you're building that can help make the world a little bit more like that world?
Liza Kindred challenges us to be more mindful in how we use and design technology. She offers us a value system on how to do just that. She encourages us to slow down and incorporate meditation and mindfulness practices into our daily lives. She reminds us to connect more with the real humans physically present with us. She also inspires us to design for the world we want to live in.
