People have different views of reality because we're seeing totally different things on social media. So if everybody's seeing this slightly different world that's optimized to manipulate them, then when they talk to each other, they don't have as much of a basis of shared experience and empathize. And so when you talk to somebody who's using social media, it's kind of weird. It's like they've been away in their social media world, but everybody has been.
