The only thing i really knew was that i wanted to write about human beings that act as landmarks for communities. Every city kind of has a human landmark that people sort of echo locate themselves in relation to. And i wanted to depict that, starting from sort of the most innocuous a two more and more extreme versions of that. Then ultimately to arrive at one that wasn't sort of either a complete victim, which is the one for my life,. The person who was the landmark in our town, two, and not not a total villain like geffrey dalmer. That was the whole point of the story, was to eventually come around to this that kind of inspired everybody.
