How to Get So Much Done Apart From Anything Else
Bob Greene: I've never really asked you this, but now I'm going to. How do you get so much writing done apart from anything else? Well, writing is like writing a bicycle. It's very hard when you start, but if you keep doing it, you just get the flywheel going. So I typically do two things that allow me to do this. Number one, I have no social life. Maybe once a month. The other thing is I don't sleep very well. He writes three columns a week for his website and syndicated one for Chicago Tribunes.
