The Method of Analogy Is Akin to Concentration Without Anxiety
Analogy seizes the analogous facts of various phenomena and treats them to its own methodology. Eventually, the author understands here that the method of analogy is akin to concentration without effort. The cross is a symbol which is representative of the unknown of the above and the horizontal of the below. And so to page 20, the magician represents the man who has attained harmony and equilibrium between the spontaneity of the unconscious and the deliberate action of the conscious. His state of consciousness is the synthesis of the conscious and unconscious, of creative spontaneity and deliberately executed activity.
