The King Sampled His Supper

So they're having a dinner, essentially. So it's obvious to ofus that everyone had plenty of food and that no one was left out. Because another sound, a new sound, suddenly drew near. Suddenly they were able to hear another sound which might signal the king to sample his supper. Maybe it was a loud fanfare or something like that, or some noise that er, the king might have mistaken for a gong or some other sound which announced the beginning of the dinner. But in fact, it wasn't that. I think it was the sound of probably the door, the wooden doors boom opening, something like that. O for barely had the horns finished blowing their breath
