Solvent Abuse Was in Vogue When I Was a Teenager

When I was a teenager, solvent abuse was in vogue. Whether that be sniffing deodorant or petrol. As a result of peer pressure, I would have went along with it. But to say no meant getting picked on or getting called names. So I had to figure out a middle ground. How do I pretend? Because I'd see some of the other lads after sniffing petrol. And it wasn't pretty. They'd go unconscious for a little time. It was quite like an extreme drunkness. If there was no solvents, then you'd have to do a thing called the American dream. The American dream was weird.
