The EU and NATO
A lot of people seem to be using the terms NATO and EU somewhat interchangeably. This is probably because many of the nations in the EU are also part of NATO. The EU has a self-defense treaty, much like NATO, where EU nations will be obligated to defend each other if attacked by an outside force. What would the US response here be with this oddity between the EU army and NATO in the event of a Russian invasion of Finland?
