Shepherd is a head hunter agency focused on n oversea's talent. We get paid when we place some one clients company, and that's the only time we get paid. So it's a great sales proposition for us. Makes an easy sale. He knowts no risk up front for some one that hires us. And then if we find them some one that they like and they do want to hire, that's when we apply our fee - which is essentially a percentage of their presumed first year's salary. That was the genesis of my first business. Quite small, but it opened my eyes to what things can cost over seas, verses here. I could not stress enough, healthy

Serial entrepreneur Marshall Haas founded and scaled Need/Want, Peel, and most recently, Shepherd. After launching a collection of products from innovative, smart bedding to wearable emoji masks under the name Need/Want in 2013, Marshall doubled down on their most successful product. That happened to be insanely thin iPhone cases that they marketed under the name Peel. A business that, nearly 10 years later, still sells hundreds of thousands of cases a year.
