The Effect of the Price Cap on Consumer Prices

The gas price clearly has gone up for all key countries in the european union and the u k. The extent to which that impacts consumer prices depends on their dependence on gas as a fuel for heating. Most houses are connected to natural gas network, and most heating is through natural gas. So we are very significantly affected there. We're about to see the price cap increase very, very significantly to one thousand 971 pounds on average. This is by far the biggest increase we've ever seen.
