What Were the Conditions Like for POWs?
Five British soldiers were captured in Ukraine during the conflict. They are now back in America recovering from their ordeal and we did an interview with them. We've heard all sorts of reports about interrogation techniques and torture for POWs, Ukrainian and foreign. But could you talk a little bit about what they said their experience was like? Yeah, sure. The guys talked initially about the start when they were first captured, they were blindfolded and hooded. And at that point, they thought they were just going to get executed on the spot. As it happened, as it turned out, those who caught them actually treated them relatively well.
