Rights as Remedies for Predictable Injustices

Rights are seen as remedies for predictable types of injustices. In the case of indigenous peoples, they were colonized and pushed off their lands. Immigrants aren't necessarily victims of historic injustice because they're relatively recent arrivals. There are many ways in which we can adopt multiculturalism policies for immigrant groups to make it easier for them to participate more fully and equitably in society.
