Studies have shown that when we give of ourselves we actually end up feeling less lonely. A very obvious way of giving to others is to volunteer and experts also say that volunteering not only helps people feel less lonely but it can also improve physical well-being. might look for a group that does some other activity that you enjoy whether it's a walking group or a running group all of these kinds of things are a great way to start spending time doing things you enjoy whilst also meeting other people who enjoy the same things.
