The Importance of Political Superintendents in Critical Childhood Studies
Jesse Jackson: Treating groups of people like children has been really effective as an alibi for some of the worst forms of particularly racial domination in the United States. He says it's a logic by which settler colonialism stole dispossessed indigenous lands and political structures broke treaties. The Supreme Court declared is that indigenous people are not citizens, even though they reside in the territory where the Constitution supposedly prevails because they are internal dependent nations, he says.
