When you're running on a single machine, you don't even have to worry about that. It's always consistent. But yeah, as soon as you go into the distributed space, you there is the reality of eventual consistency but that is not expressed through the programming model in any way. And so you can't compose them. The world's easiest, like, eventually consistent data structure is like a counter and then we should all see four.
