Introduction
Maria Rosario Jackson is the chair of the National Endowment for the Arts. She was sworn into that position a little over a year ago. Josephine Reed spoke to her then about her thoughts about the arts in all its possibilities and the role of the arts endowment at that moment. We thought that her one year anniversary was a good time for a follow up for her to share her reflections, observations, and some of the agency's accomplishments of the past year.
