Isn't a Nato Enlargement Including Ukraine on the Table?

The prospect of ukraine's ascension nato is quite exaggerated. It's impossible to imagine how in a situation like this, a nato expansion including ukraine would ever really have been on the table. Western countries continue to at least give nominal support to the idea that ukraine might become a member. But i could see the view from moscow being that, yes, it might not be an imminent possibility, but it's one that they feel strongly needs to be foreclosed in the future. And don't have any assurances that that will happen.
