The Problems With Nuclear Propulsion
You can certainly use a nuclear reactor on a spaceship either to generate the electricity to sustain, to keep all the systems going. It's also possible significant amounts of research have been done in the 1960s, 70s about possibly going to Mars using nuclear propulsion. Once you're out into space and you've achieved the velocity that you wanted to achieve, you don't really need a nuclear propulsion engine going on all the time. The only issue I see in this entire thing is hibernation. I'm not sure it is achievable. So where were the people of the Vedic period vegetarian or non-vegetarian?
