Nietzsche and the Natural Sciences
Nietzsche's lectures are numbered at seven and named by Annie Anders and Carl Schlechte as, quote, seven excursions into the natural sciences. He finds himself in complete agreement with natural science. It too brackets the question of the essence of matter. Nietzsche will later demonstrate this impressively with regard to the Boscovitchian system. The last trait of conceiving qualities as quantities, we see that in full force in the later Pythagoreans. They are distinguished by Friedrich from Pythagoras himself.
